The annual exhibition New Acquisitions, has over 60 works; it presents prints, matrices, books, artists’ books and objects from the Museum’s collection which date from the 16th century to the present day. The exhibition has two aims:

– To offer a journey through space and time; a panorama of printmaking through the Museum’s rich collection.

– To enable the viewer to come into contact with various techniques of printmaking, both traditional and contemporary.

The exhibition presents works by contemporary printmakers from various countries of Western and Central Europe, Russia, Australia and Asia (Japan, Vietnam, Bangladesh), great names of printmaking of the past centuries (Aldegrever, Piranesi, Daumier, Dufy, etc.), Greek printmakers of the 20th and 21st century (including G. Kefallinos, P. Tetsis) and Cypriot contemporary printmakers.
