A. Tassos

Α. Tassos, student of Kefallinos until 1939, dedicates his life in printmaking – mainly woodcutting – through which he keeps illustrating ordinary people. Appears militant in his most famous woodcuts, depicting the everyday life of common people but also the epic battle of those sacrifice for their ideals. His committed printmaking is fighting for these ordinary people, as well as for freedom and justice. He also shows his love in for Greek nature and its landscapes.
